Governor Peter Mbah has urged candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State to base their campaigns on the projects, reforms and achievements of his administration as the 2027 general elections approach.

Mbah, while addressing party candidates and stakeholders, stressed the need for them to confidently communicate the impact of government projects to residents across the state.

The Governor encouraged the candidates to take the message of the administration’s development agenda to their respective constituencies, highlighting projects and programmes designed to improve infrastructure, education, healthcare, transportation, security and economic opportunities.

He said the party’s campaign should be driven by visible results and measurable achievements, rather than promises alone.

Mbah also urged APC candidates to remain connected to the people, listen to their concerns and clearly explain how the administration’s policies and projects are improving lives across Enugu State.

The call comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 elections, with political parties and candidates beginning preparations for campaigns and grassroots mobilisation.
