Dear Boss Hon. Engr. UKE,
On behalf of the entire State Executives, Zonal Coordinators, LGA Coordinators, and the over 20400-strong workforce of *Enugu Media Village (EMV)*, we write with immense joy and pride to congratulate you, *Hon. Engr. Uche Kelvin Edeh (UKE)*, our *Director General*, on your appointment as *Senior Special Assistant on Research and Strategy* to the Governor of Enugu State, *His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah*.
This is not just an appointment. It is a national and state-level endorsement of your competence, your integrity, and your selfless dedication to Enugu’s progress. As the team you built from the ground up, we have watched you lead with vision, humility, and an uncommon drive to deliver results. Today, Enugu State has recognized what we have always known: that you are a builder, a strategist, and a bridge between government and the people.
TO HIS EXCELLENCY, DR. PETER NDUBUISI MBAH: OUR SINCERE APPRECIATION
Your Excellency, we, the State Executives of Enugu Media Village, heartily congratulate you and express our profound gratitude for specially recognizing and rewarding the statewide commitment of our Director General.
By appointing Hon. Engr. Uche Kelvin Edeh as SSA Research and Strategy, you have demonstrated that this administration values hard work, loyalty, technical expertise, and grassroots connection. You have sent a clear message to every young professional in Enugu: that capacity will be recognized, and service will be rewarded.
This appointment aligns perfectly with your administration’s 8-point agenda of innovation, industrialization, and inclusive governance. We are confident that Engr. UKE will bring his data-driven approach, strategic mind, and people-first attitude to support your vision of a $30 billion Enugu economy.
A TRACK RECORD THAT SPEAKS: UKE’S 2026 SERVICE JOURNEY
Boss, your elevation today did not happen by accident. It is the product of consistent performance across multiple assignments this year alone. As EMV State Executives who work closely with you, we bear witness to your dedication:
1. Enugu East Senatorial District Coordinator of APC E-Registration
At a time when political parties needed to modernize and expand, you took charge of the E-Registration exercise across Enugu East Senatorial Zone. You deployed technology, trained field teams, and ensured that thousands of members were captured digitally. The result was a stronger, data-ready party structure that set the standard for other zones.
2. Enugu State Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme (RHWDP)
As State Coordinator, you coordinated one of the most critical grassroots interventions of the year. You ensured that the Renewed Hope agenda translated into tangible development at the ward level. From community engagement to project monitoring, you made sure that federal and state policies met the people where they live. Your leadership in RHWDP proved that you understand both policy and people.
These roles prepared you for this new, higher responsibility. You have shown that you can manage people, manage data, and manage expectations.
WHAT THIS NEW OFFICE MEANS FOR ENUGU STATE
As Senior Special Assistant on Research and Strategy, Boss, your mandate is clear and critical. You will be at the heart of government decision-making, providing the Governor’s office with:
1. Evidence-based research to guide policy formulation across key sectors
2. Strategic planning and implementation tracking to ensure the Mbah administration delivers on its promises
3. Stakeholder engagement to bridge the gap between government, private sector, academia, and civil society
4. Innovation advisory to position Enugu as a leader in technology, MSME development, and industrial growth
We know this terrain is familiar to you. As an Engineer, a politician, and a media leader, you understand how to turn ideas into action and how to communicate that action to the people.
THE EMV CONNECTION: WHY WE ARE PROUD
Enugu Media Village was founded on the principle that media must do more than report — it must shape, educate, and develop. Under your leadership as Director General of Enugu Media Vilage has become the “Voice of the Coal City, Beyond the Headlines.”

We pledge that Enugu Media Vilagewill continue to serve as your strategic communications arm. We will amplify the research, the policies, and the strategies that emerge from your office, so that Ndi Enugu can understand, own, and benefit from them.
