THE Enugu State Government has intensified digital monitoring of infrastructure projects across the state, with the official Project Monitoring & Accountability Platform providing updated information on the implementation status of government projects.

The latest Project Meter update, dated October 7, 2026, lists 341 projects across Enugu State, with 111 recorded as completed and 230 classified as on track. The projects are distributed across all 17 Local Government Areas.

Road infrastructure remains a major component of the projects being tracked, with current listings covering road networks in areas including Emene, Thinkers’ Corner, Trans-Ekulu, New GRA, Old GRA, New Haven, Awkunanaw, Achara Layout, Uwani and Garriki.

The platform also tracks projects beyond road construction, covering sectors and facilities linked to education, healthcare, urban development, tourism, technology, aviation and other areas of public infrastructure.

The distribution of projects shows Enugu East and Ezeagu with 31 projects each, followed by Oji River with 29, Nkanu East with 26, Enugu North with 24, while Udi and Igbo Etiti each have 23 projects listed on the platform.

The digital monitoring system provides information on project locations, implementing ministries, contractors, progress and status, offering residents a central platform through which government infrastructure delivery can be followed.

The development comes alongside continued physical inspections by the Enugu State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure. Recent inspections have covered projects in New Haven, Amechi-Awkunanaw, New Enugu City and other locations, with the ministry stressing the need for quality construction, adherence to timelines and value for public investment.

As implementation continues, the Project Meter is providing an evolving digital picture of infrastructure delivery across the state, while physical inspections and project updates remain important to verifying progress on the ground.
