Enugu Media Village DG, Uche Kelvin Edeh, Congratulates Enugu State Governor on National Assignment.

ENUGU NIGERIA – Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has been appointed Zonal Campaign Coordinator for the South-East in the All Progressives Congress [APC] Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general elections.
The appointment was contained in the full membership list of the council released on Saturday, August 22, 2026, by the Presidency through Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.
Council Leadership
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will chair the council.
Vice Chairmen: Vice President Kashim Shettima and APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda
Director-General: Sen. Abdulaziz Yari, former Governor of Zamfara State
Secretary: Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo State
Deputy Secretary: Sen. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru
Assistant Secretary: Hadiza Bala Usman
Mbah to Coordinate South-East Campaign
With this appointment, Gov. Mbah will lead and coordinate APC’s presidential campaign efforts across the 5 South-East states.
Other zonal coordinators announced are:
Sen. Bassey Otu [South-South], Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu [South-West], Gov. Umar Bago [North-Central], Sen. Modu Sheriff [North-East], and Gov. Uba Sani [North-West].
The council is mandated to mobilize support and showcase the achievements of the Tinubu administration ahead of the January 2027 presidential election.
