Governor’s Visit to Feature Bridge, Secretariat, Electricity and Community Development Projects.

ENUGU State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, is scheduled to visit Isi-Uzo Local Government Area today to commission a number of development projects and engage stakeholders on critical infrastructure needs across the area.
The visit will feature the commissioning of the long-span bridge across the Ebenyi River at Mgbuji, Eha-Amufu, the remodelled Isi-Uzo Local Government Secretariat in Ikem, electricity projects in Neke and other communities, as well as road and community development initiatives executed by the outgoing council administration led by Mr. Obiora Obeagu.
The Governor is also expected to address key road infrastructure challenges affecting the area, particularly the Eha-Amufu–Ikem, Eha-Amufu–Umualor and Neke–Mbu–Eha-Alumona roads, which serve as important routes for residents, farmers, traders and businesses.
The Obeagu administration has also implemented interventions across critical sectors, including electricity, education, agriculture, healthcare and security. Among the projects are electricity interventions valued at more than ₦210 million, provision of bursaries and agricultural inputs, as well as the renovation and equipping of the council clinic.
Governor Mbah’s engagement in Isi-Uzo is expected to provide an opportunity for direct interaction with communities on infrastructure priorities and ongoing development needs, while reinforcing the state government’s broader focus on expanding infrastructure and improving living conditions across Enugu State.
The visit is also in line with the administration’s development agenda and its #TomorrowIsHere vision of sustained investment in communities and responsive governance.
