Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, has commissioned an electrification project and an ultra-modern Local Government Secretariat in Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to taking development to communities across the state.

The Governor, represented at the commissioning by his Deputy, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, reiterated the administration’s determination to strengthen grassroots infrastructure and improve the quality of public services available to residents across the 17 Local Government Areas.

The newly commissioned projects form part of ongoing interventions aimed at improving critical infrastructure and creating a more conducive environment for effective administration and service delivery at the local government level.

The electrification project is expected to improve access to electricity within the benefiting communities, while the modern secretariat provides an upgraded administrative environment for local government officials and residents seeking government services.

The commissioning further underscores the state government’s emphasis on extending development beyond the urban centres and ensuring that communities across Enugu benefit from infrastructure investments.

The Enugu State Government’s Project Monitoring and Accountability Platform currently lists 13 projects in Isi-Uzo LGA, as part of 341 projects being monitored across the state.

Enugu Media Village (EMV) reports that the commissioning comes as the Mbah administration continues to prioritise infrastructure, local government development and improved service delivery as key components of its broader development agenda.
