ENUGU STATE — Our Commitment to Ndi Enugu: The Journey So Far reflects the development priorities, policy initiatives and ongoing efforts of the administration of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah to advance infrastructure, education, healthcare, economic growth, security and opportunities for the people of Enugu State.
Since assuming office in May 2023, the administration has pursued its development agenda under the vision of building a prosperous, productive and economically competitive Enugu State. Its long-term ambition includes growing the state’s economy from approximately $4.4 billion to $30 billion.
Key areas of focus include road construction and rehabilitation, improvements in public education and healthcare, investment in transport infrastructure, agricultural development, digital innovation, security and initiatives aimed at creating opportunities for young people and businesses.
The journey so far also raises important questions about the impact of these initiatives on everyday life: how communities are benefiting, how public services are changing, what opportunities are reaching young people, and what work remains to be done.
As the state continues its development journey, accountability, transparency, effective implementation and public participation remain essential to ensuring that government programmes translate into measurable benefits for Ndi Enugu.
