Says Governor’s Development Initiatives Are Creating New Opportunities and Strengthening the State’s Future.
ENUGU — Hon. Amb. High Chief (Dr.) Mrs. Ginika Tor has commended the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for what she described as his commitment to transforming the state through strategic investments in infrastructure, human capital development, education, healthcare, agriculture and economic growth.
Mrs. Tor, while expressing her appreciation for the Governor’s leadership, noted that the administration’s development initiatives are increasingly impacting different sectors of the state and creating an environment conducive to investment, enterprise and improved quality of life for residents.
She particularly acknowledged the administration’s emphasis on road infrastructure and urban renewal, describing the ongoing construction and rehabilitation of roads across Enugu as important steps towards improving connectivity, facilitating commerce and opening up communities for greater economic activities.
According to her, the administration’s investments in education, healthcare, skills development and youth empowerment also demonstrate a broader commitment to building human capacity and ensuring that the benefits of development extend beyond physical infrastructure.
She further commended Governor Mbah for his efforts to position Enugu as a competitive economic hub in the South-East, noting that initiatives aimed at attracting investment, promoting agriculture, strengthening local industries and improving transportation infrastructure could contribute significantly to the state’s long-term economic development.
Mrs. Tor urged residents and stakeholders to continue supporting initiatives that promote peace, accountability, innovation and sustainable development, stressing that collective participation remains essential to consolidating the gains of government programmes.
She also encouraged the administration to sustain its focus on inclusive development, transparency and projects that directly improve the welfare and economic prospects of the people.
The commendation comes amid the Enugu State Government’s ongoing implementation of its development agenda, with major projects and programmes targeted at infrastructure renewal, economic expansion, social development and improved public service delivery.
