The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced October 9, 2026, as the commencement date for the nationwide collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) following the conclusion of the latest Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
The announcement was made by the INEC Chairman, Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan, SAN, as the electoral body intensifies preparations for the 2027 General Elections.
