The Enugu State Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Office has extended a cordial invitation to young people, community members, environmental enthusiasts, SDG advocates, and other stakeholders to participate in a Training on Recycling as part of activities marking Global Goals Week 2026.
The training is designed to deepen public awareness of environmental sustainability while equipping participants with practical knowledge and skills in recycling, responsible waste management, waste reduction, environmental protection, and sustainable living.
The initiative is expected to encourage participants to embrace practical solutions that can help reduce environmental pollution, promote cleaner communities, create opportunities from recyclable materials, and contribute to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Participants will also have the opportunity to learn practical approaches to recycling and discover how individuals, communities, institutions, and businesses can play meaningful roles in building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environment.
