A major platform for youth empowerment and opportunity creation is set to come alive in Enugu as Peter Eze Youth Connect 2026 brings together young people and key opportunity providers in a move that further strengthens the youth-focused development vision of Governor Peter Mbah and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The maiden edition of the programme, scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026, at the International Conference Centre, Enugu, is designed to connect young people directly with opportunities in employment, education, scholarships, grants, entrepreneurship, internships, digital careers and professional development.

Convened by the Federal Commissioner representing Enugu State at the Federal Character Commission, Hon. Peter Ogbonna Eze, the programme is themed “Beyond Quotas: Unlocking Opportunities for Enugu Youths Through the Federal Character Commission.”

The initiative aligns with the broader commitment of both the Federal and Enugu State Governments to equip young Nigerians with the knowledge, skills and opportunities required to become productive contributors to economic growth.

Under Governor Peter Mbah, Enugu has continued to place strong emphasis on human capital development, youth skills, digital capacity, entrepreneurship and employment opportunities, while President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda places youth empowerment, economic inclusion and expanded opportunities at the centre of national development.

Against this backdrop, Peter Eze Youth Connect 2026 provides a practical platform for translating these policy directions into opportunities that young people can understand, access and pursue.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about legitimate employment openings, scholarships, grants, fellowships, internships, entrepreneurship support, digital opportunities and leadership pathways, while gaining useful information on how to prepare and position themselves for available opportunities.

Hon. Eze said the initiative is intended to close the information gap that often prevents qualified young Nigerians from benefiting from opportunities created by government and other institutions.

The event is therefore expected to attract students, graduates, entrepreneurs, job seekers, innovators and young professionals from across Enugu State.

Beyond the networking and information-sharing, the gathering represents a growing partnership between government vision and youth ambition, giving young people a platform to connect with opportunities capable of improving their livelihoods and contributing to the economic transformation of Enugu and Nigeria.

With the event beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, young people across Enugu are encouraged to be part of the gathering and take advantage of the opportunities, information and connections it offers.

Peter Eze Youth Connect 2026 is not just another youth programme—it is an opportunity to connect Enugu’s young population to the wider development vision of Governor Peter Mbah and President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Enugu Media Village (EMV), the Most Updated Online News Platform, will continue to report relevant developments and initiatives advancing youth empowerment, economic opportunity and inclusive development in Enugu State and Nigeria.
