Today, the people of Enugu East Senatorial District, also known as Ndi Nkanu, spoke with one voice to endorse the re-election of their son, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah as Governor of Enugu State, and His Excellency, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Led by the Executive Chairman, Hon. Barr. Obiora Chibuzo Obeagu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area turned out in full force. All 11 wards were fully mobilized and present at the endorsement rally.
The overwhelming crowd from Isi-Uzo reflected total confidence in the leadership of Governor Mbah and President Tinubu. With one voice, the people declared: “No Vacancy in Lion Building Come 2027.”
In appreciation of Governor Mbah’s achievements in the last 3 years, the Nkanu people presented him with a ₦300,000,000 cheque to support his re-election campaign. This gesture shows their belief that he will do even more when re-elected in 2027.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, Dr. Peter Mbah thanked Enugu East for their unwavering support since he assumed office on May 29, 2023. He reaffirmed his commitment to people-oriented projects across all 17 LGAs of Enugu State.
He urged “Ndi Nkanu” to continue to pray and stand with his administration and called for maximum support and cooperation ahead of the 2027 general elections. The Governor also highlighted key accomplishments of his administration and assured Ndi Enugu that more impactful projects are on the way.
The Enugu East endorsement rally sent a clear message: Nkanu people are united behind leaders who deliver results, build infrastructure, and put the welfare of citizens first and Isi-Uzo LGA remains fully committed to this vision of progress and continuity.
